Collagen Brownies

Collagen Brownies

1/4 cup maple syrup (use 1/3 if you like sweeter)

2 eggs

1/2 cup coconut oil, melted

1/4 cup raw cacao

1 cup almond flour

2-3 scoops of grass fed collagen

Pinch of sea salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

 

Makes about eight brownies

If you want to use an 8inch x 8inch pan, double a batch and cook for 17 to 20 minutes testing with a skewer until they are cooked right for you.

 

 

Preheat oven to 3 50°F / 180c

 

In a bowl mix together, maple syrup, eggs, and melted coconut oil.

 

In a separate bowl mix the rock cacao, almond flour, collagen, salt, and baking soda

 

Carefully fold the dry mix into the wet mix. Do not over stir as we want the brownies to be fudgy

 

Line an 8inches x 4inches pan

 

Bake for 15 minutes or 20 minutes if you don’t want them to be as soft inside. Use a cake skewer to test to see if cooked how you’d like it!

 

Remove from the baking dish immediately to avoid them continuing to cook
