We all have fears before investing in ourselves. What (if anything) was the fear before you started working on yourself, and looking back what would you have told yourself if you knew these were the results you would get?

I was afraid of what would come up in the healing process - of what would get unearthed or discovered.

I would have told myself that those things were never covered up in the first place...I was wearing my unhealed wounds on my body in excess weight, in my relationships with my avoidant attachment, in my day-to-day life, and how I was showing up. So you might as well look at them head-on because they're out there whether you like it or not. And once you face them, those wounds are smaller and so much less scary than you've built them up to be!

I loved every minute of being held by Monica because that is what it felt like. I felt so safe and guided. I could truly just BE while also doing real emotional, challenging work on myself. I am forever grateful to have been in this with Monica. The absolute best investment I've ever done for myself. PART 1: I wrote this in my journal this morning that I would love other ladies to know to join this program: Up until this point in my life, I have had such deeply rooted religious and sexual trauma in my life that I always thought it would be impossible to move on from and live without numbing myself all the time. I did years of cognitive behavioral therapy and that played a role in my healing at that time because it gave me the ability to speak after trauma. I tried another modality of therapy that taught me about brain chemistry and how to stop assigning meaning to different traumas in my life and remove that emotional charge. As someone with a very big history of body image/ eating disorders - the reconstruction of the body as being the physical, mental, and soul has had a fundamental impact on me. Also, great question re: scholarships!! I've honestly tried offering them a few different times in the past, and the reality is—and it’s been proven to me time and time again—that when someone doesn’t have that skin in the game and they haven’t actually paid, they just unfortunately aren’t going to show up in the same way as they would with that full exchange and leap of faith.

I'm very aware of the fact that for many people, paying even a fraction of my prices is a big deal and a lot of money. And that's okay! I was really worried about the time investment. I didn't realize that I was still attached to unhealthy attitudes, anger, fear, resentment, and need for acceptance. If I could go back and talk to the pre-QA version of myself, I would tell her that she needs a break and it is totally worth it to take some time to rest and upgrade to a better version of herself. I would also tell her that she is not an expert and is missing a lot of really dysfunctional parts of herself and that she needs someone else to help her heal.

I used to get quite heavy periods and bad period pain that would radiate to my back. Sometimes I would be doubled over at my work desk with stabbing pain, mainly on my right-hand side. However, since finishing QA, I've had no period pain, and my period is lighter. I haven't drastically changed my diet/lifestyle. The only thing I can think of is that I cleared all the masculine wounding and shit to do with men, feeling let down by my dad, ex-boyfriends, etc.

The very first noticeable change I experienced was the communication I had with men - in the intimacy department, I have been in receivership, and I feel secure in my relationship. As a womens health nutritionist, I’m fully aware of the effects emotional stress, trauma & energetic blockages has on our health, however I didn’t know how to fully overcome them in my own life.
