How to Use AI Without Losing Your Voice, Your Power, or Your Soul—Part 3 of the AI Series

Alright, friend, it’s time to take it HOME with the final post of our deeply inspired, impromptu blog series on the vast, edgy, and nuanced topic of AI. If you missed parts 1 and 2, I would highly recommend reading those first for full context!
Now, let’s get into the empowerment, the encouragement, and the RECLAMATION. This one is sure to leave you feeling fired up and ready to lead in this new age. It’s farrrrrr from over, friend. We’re just getting started!
So, picking up where I left off in Part 2…
I mean, Simon Sinek talks about this a bit in the episode, too, where people are having relationships with AI—yikes. (Editing to add: I also stumbled across THIS post on Instagram today and seriously… wtf is happening!?!)
But what we're forgetting is that AI is literally DESIGNED to affirm you, validate you, and tell you what you want to hear. That's not a true friend (or a good coach for that matter). That's a robot. There's a difference.
You can FEEL and you can TASTE what a robot writes vs what a human writes.
You can sense when you get an email reply from a robot vs someone who genuinely LOVES people and delivers exceptional customer service. A robot can't replace human emotion, a human energetic SIGNATURE, and fine-tuned discernment.
You have to walk through the f*cking fire and earn that sh*t.
So, obviously, I could go on and on and on about this topic. And listen, I believe there IS truth to the fact that if you don't learn how to utilize AI, you'll likely fall behind in the business (and career) world. But what we have to be SO careful of is outsourcing our power to it and using it to regulate ourselves, and therefore losing those skills and that ability within ourselves.
You also have to be mindful to not use it to SKIP important steps in building your business, writing a book, parenting your child (lol), etc. You need to figure out YOUR voice (because God help us if we all just start sounding the same because AI is spitting out all of our content).
You need to…
-
-
Learn how to market yourself.
-
Fall on your face and make mistakes (THIS IS HOW YOU GROW!).
-
Cultivate self-trust and discernment, and reconnect with your intuition.
-
Learn how to GET RESOURCEFUL and figure things out along the way.
-
Remember how to TRY new things, and sit in the discomfort of not knowing everything.
-
And, for the love of God, you need to be able to find the answer yourself (anyone else remember the good ol' days of having to rummage through a library for resources to write your research papers!?).
You also need to…
-
-
Practice using your CREATIVITY—not letting AI be more creative than you are (that's a fast track to zapping your vitality and killing you quickly, for real).
-
Keep sharpening the skill of making a decision, without consulting anyone (or anything).
-
Be able to be told things you don't want to hear and not just be validated all the time.
-
Learn how to be RESILIENT, adaptable, and confident.
-
I think another reason that Monica and I get sooo passionate about this topic is just the mere fact of seeing how much of a slippery slope this can be. As I've said, there are ways to use it wisely and make all of our jobs a little bit easier day-to-day, but it's also scary to watch how RELIANT on it our society is becoming, especially in the coaching industry.
If we let it disconnect us from what makes us HUMAN (aka our discernment, emotions, and heart), it WILL have detrimental effects on our world and future generations. If we use it in a numbed-out and disembodied way, we can be easily swayed and pulled further away from our power. Hive mind, anyone??
When we start letting AI lead, instead of leading OURSELVES (and letting AI support us)... it can be a slippery, slippery slope.
Here at MYH, I can promise you that when you reach out to us—you're speaking with a REAL, live human being. It's me, or Amanda, or occasionally Lea.
When you work with Monica in one of her programs, you're working WITH MONICA (and our team).
Human-to-human.
Woman-to-woman.
Woman-to-man (could never forget Monica's male clients—we see you!!).
Heart-to-heart.
It's our guarantee to you, always. No matter the way the AI world winds blow. We've got you.
And when we do use AI to support us, there's always and forever a human being reviewing, refining, breathing life into, and signing off on whatever way we've used it. Think things like organizing team meeting notes, optimizing SOPs, taking three past marketing emails and consolidating them into one banger with a streamlined CTA (but it's always emails Monica has already written, and always a final refinement or edit done by a human heart), turning a podcast transcript into the SKELETON for a blog (and then absolutely reviewing it and tweaking it and adding to it and infusing human energy into it before publishing), setting up a flow in Zapier, doing research for the best ways to use a new tool/platform, etc.
The human heart ALWAYS leads here at MYH.
(Because also, have you noticed AI isn't perfect!? It definitely misses the mark at times, and you can't rely so heavily on it that you forget to use your BRAIN... hot hiring and interviewing tip, by the way.)
TLDR: Let AI support you.
-
-
Let it ease your decision fatigue at times or help you plan your meals for the week.
-
Let it streamline something for you or help outline all of the pertinent details from your bestie's 15-minute voice messages so you can respond in a more organized fashion.
-
Let it summarize a NOVEL you wrote for an IG caption from time-to-time so it fits in the freaking character limit for once.
-
Let it give you ideas for ways to streamline your bursting-at-the-seams email inbox.
-
But, for the love of all that is human, don't become codependent on it.
Don't fall for the trap of buying a coach's personal AI bot that promises to make you millions because you have "her" in your back pocket (because you, frankly, do not, and an AI bot can never replace an embodied, gifted, heart-centered coach or healer—this robot is also likely giving you the same answers and ideas that it's giving someone else, eek!).
Don't think that AI knows better for you than YOU know for you. Don't outsource your power or your magic or your GROWTH. Don't forget to continue refining your God-given discernment and intuition.
Use it, but don't let it swallow you whole.
And hey, if AI is down for a day or two or ten, maybe it's for a reason. Maybe it's God, or the Universe, or whatever divine power you believe is at play actually supporting you and giving you space to reconnect with your heart and your humanity if perhaps you've been swept up in the craziness of it all. Things are moving FAST, but remember, it's okay to slow down sometimes. In fact, your feminine relishes in it. Give yourself that gift.
We love you, we appreciate you, and we hope you FEEL our hearts in a world that is quickly becoming more and more tech-focused and efficiency-driven.
Here at MYH—hearts lead, tech follows.

P.S. Real quick before I log off and go back to being FULLY behind-the-scenes (someone shut me up real quick lol)—Monica has an exclusive bonus module on THIS exact topic that is dropping inside HER Year in July. She's sharing a guide on how to use AI ethically to support you in increasing your productivity and being a woman that leads (without becoming reliant on it).
