Trauma
Have You Actually Healed Your Trauma? Take This 9-Question Quiz.
There's a trend going around right now of people announcing they're "done" with healing work. They’re boycotting ittttt. They’re declaring they've "done the work" and they're moving on with their lives.
Yet they haven't actually "done the work."
❌ Because a $30 membership DOES NOT heal your trauma.
❌ Journalling doesn't heal your trauma.
❌ Being aware of your trauma doesn't mean you've HEALED it.
So every time I see it, I wonder... Have they actually healed it? Or just become really, REALLY, aware of it?
Because after nine years doing this, I've lost count of the number of women who came to me certain they'd already "done the work," only to find they'd scratched the surface and thought they had to just use 57 tools a day for the rest of their lives.
Awareness isn't transformation. Knowing exactly why you're triggered, tracing it back to the precise moment in childhood, and being able to talk about your nervous system like a textbook—that's awareness.
Score each from 1 (not true at all) to 5 (completely me), then add them up.
-
When something or someone that used to trigger you comes up, your body still reacts. Shaky hands, tight chest, that drop in your stomach, hot rush, etc.
Your score: ___ -
You can explain your patterns and trace them right back to childhood, and you still catch yourself living them out.
Your score: ___ -
In the situations that repeat, whether it's with your kids, your partner, your dating life, or your team, you still get reactive in the exact way you swore you wouldn't this time.
Your score: ___ -
You have chronic health symptoms: jaw tension, gut flares or bloating, headaches, sleep that never leaves you rested, weight that won't shift no matter what you do, hormonal issues, infertility, back pain, and/or random body issues.
Your score: ___ -
If you slow down even slightly, some part of you is scared that you'll get behind or look lazy.
Your score: ___ -
Everything runs through you; you can't fully delegate or let someone else hold it, so you've become the bottleneck in your own success.
Your score: ___ -
If you skip your morning routine or don't get to your tools, the whole day unravels, and you're not as regulated as you would have been.
Your score: ___ -
You lean on a stack of practices (breathwork, tapping, journaling, meditation) to keep yourself healthy and regulated.
Your score: ___ -
Resting, receiving help, or slowing down still makes you feel guilty, anxious, or like something's wrong.
Your score: ___
Now add up your score, out of 45.
Score 9–18: You're close to Radiate. (The final step in my H.E.R. Method)
You've done real, deep work and it shows; your baseline is regulated, and you're not relying on tools to be in an aligned and high vibrational state. So read this carefully...
If even ONE statement was a 4 or a 5, that tells me there is still some final work to do. Not so that you're "perfect", as that doesn't exist and perfection can become an unhealthy obsession in the world of personal development (did a podcast recently on this), but so that you actually feel the most at peace and the best version of yourself. So that you can FULLY enjoy the HUMAN experience.
Score 19–33: You've started, and your body is still running the old operating system.
This is where most "I've done the work" women actually sit because they think awareness = healing. But it doesn't.
You're still holding your regulation together with routines and practices, and your body is still throwing symptoms and reactivity at you, which means the root is still there, just better managed, and you're more aware than you used to be.
Awareness isn't healing.
Score 34–45: You're aware, not yet healed.
You know your patterns intimately, but you're still shaky, still reactive, still exhausted, and still in your hypermasculine, because mindset work is 20% of it. 80% of signals are sent from the body up to the brain. Your awareness is helpful, but you haven't done the real healing work where you don't need to manage your triggers. They will be GONE.
Wherever you landed, that remaining gap doesn't close with more awareness.
If you need to consult your psychic every day, or if you need a 34-step morning routine to feel regulated, that tells me your baseline is not self-trust. It might look good for Instagram, but it doesn't give you long-term results.
I've been leading women like you through my healing methods for 9 years, and so I know what actually sticks so that they don't need me anymore.
Femininity isn't something that you have to coerce yourself into; it’s something that you come home to as your state of balance because it’s naturally your essence as a woman.
Once you feel safe enough to stop needing to protect yourself, you don’t need to try to be feminine; you just are.
