Why Masculine Structure (Not Just Feminine Flow) Are the Secret to Thriving as a Mum

Want to know how I manage to have a great Oura ring score while… being a new mum, having broken sleep, breastfeeding, running a company, just got done hosting an event, currently launching HER Year, exercising, cooking healthy meals, and manifesting?

 

Firstly, it’s not perfect. Some days my sleep score is also 64, and I’ve woken up 13 times throughout the night. But I’m fine on those days because 80% of the time my sleep is good.

 

The real kicker is that my sleep is better NOW than prior to being a mum. I went back on my Oura ring, and on average, I consistently get more hours of sleep NOW than before.

 

Okay, but let’s dive into how I’m not just managing it all, but holding it all with ease. Let's talk about how I'm not running around like a headless chicken or in a state of fight-or-flight, but regulated 95% of the time (hello, we’re all human).

The only reason I’m able to get good sleep, work, dry brush, go to the sauna a few times a month, do Pilates regularly, breastfeed, cook healthy meals, and manifest is because of systems and structure. There is nothing “feminine flow” about this, and that's the truth. 

 

If I waited to be in a certain mood to cook dinner early in the day… I’d be waiting a while. Feminine flow alone doesn’t get you all of this. If you’re in your feminine all the time, trying to manage a load this big, you’ll be in a state of overwhelm and unnecessary chaos.

 

My 2-hour morning routine is LONG GONE. But I’m still manifesting and ensuring I’m in a high vibration, I’m just going about it differently. Side note, I’m also like, what the f*ck was I doing for 2 hours every morning?! LOL. Cause I’m still feeling great, if not MORE magnetic for my manifestations, and my first 2 hours of the day look veryyyyyyy different.

 

I'm still caring for myself with saunas, dry body brushing, gua sha in the morning, etc., because I'm deeply committed to myself. Even on the weekends when we don’t have our nanny, I'm still fitting in self-care in different ways because when my cup is full, and I'm feeling good in my body and mind, I can look after Tripp better. It’s my duty as a mother to look after myself so that I can pour into others.
