How to Stay Abundant During an Economic Downturn

How to Stay Abundant During an Economic Downturn

Lately, I’ve been hearing a lot of chatter about a potential recession and the stock market freaking people out. And I get it—it’s easy to panic when everyone around you is losing their heads. But let’s take a second to breathe and remember something important: the stock market is a long game, so why are we panicking about short-term dips? It’ll bounce back, as it always does. And guess what? Your abundance doesn’t need to take a hit just because the economy is in a downturn.

There’s an infinite amount of abundance out there, always. Abundance doesn’t run out—it’s not a limited resource. But here’s a little mind-bender for you: when a bunch of people are stuck in scarcity, hoarding and saving, they’re creating space for you to shine.

When everyone else is shrinking back, you have more room to grow and make bold moves. It’s during these times of economic uncertainty that people often make the most money because there’s less competition in the energy of abundance.

Now, I’m not saying other people have to be struggling for you to succeed—absolutely not. There’s more than enough for everyone. But logically speaking, when others are holding back out of fear, there’s more space for you to go big. So, when people are talking about recessions, you’re over here talking about abundance.

This may sound naïve, but believing you and your loved ones are “unsubscribed” from a recession will improve your financial state.

I’m simply “unavailable to be affected by the state of the economy.”
“Money comes to me always and forever”

It’s so important to understand that what you surround yourself with and the beliefs you choose to adopt shape your reality. If you choose to believe you’re going to be a victim of the recession, guess what? You will be. But if you decide that you’re simply not available for that reality, then you won’t be affected by it. Personally, I’ve opted out. I’m not here for the doom and gloom narrative, and I encourage you to do the same.

Just the other day, my husband was stressing about the stock market, saying, "This is bad!" And I was like, “Not for us—it doesn’t apply.” Years ago, he didn’t understand this mindset, but now he’s seen it in action. When we choose not to participate in the scarcity mindset, it doesn’t impact us.

So, here’s my invitation to you: Stop buying into other people’s fears. You’re not a victim of the recession, and you don’t need to be swept up in the collective worry. Now is actually the perfect time to invest in your dreams and your future. When everyone else is in panic mode, you have the chance to get ahead. If you can create success now, just imagine what you’ll be able to do when the good times roll back around.

This is the time to put your head down, focus on your goals, and make moves while everyone else is too scared to act. Don’t let fear stop you. Abundance is everywhere—you just have to claim it. Now is the best time to build your dream life, and trust me, the universe will back you up.

When the majority are in panic mode, the opportunity arises for those willing to step into abundance.

As Jaspreet Singh says, more millionaires are made during an economic recession than at any other time.
